Background

The Stormwind City Watch was ostensibly created to protect the people of Stormwind City and uphold a semblance of law and order; while its founder was eventually found to be corrupt, today those ideals are still upheld. Shakily. Watchmen are now part of the furniture in Stormwind City, and are easily recgonised by their distinctive blue uniforms and their abundant cynicism.

The Watch has passed through a long line of Captainships: Nath Shadoweyes, Bronkar Caerandon, Baugi Haugspori, Carinia Stormshadow, Niars Tydus and the current Captain Kiach Ideon have all served as Captain of the Watch at one point. They continue to follow the same task: upholding the Laws of Stormwind City.
