Background

Alabast retired as a guildmaster from The Archmages over a year ago after being captured and held in Teldrassil by Ngrak and Tixia.

When the Dark Portal reopened he was called into service again by the Ironforge Library and returned to his position as a member of the Board of Scribes. He is usually seen baking muffins or finding new ways to make an impression on his fiancee Yara.

Yara and Alabast: Gnomish Love at its sweetest.

In the Argent Archives, Alabast's main task is overseeing the scribe's tasks and progression, especially his forgetful Archivar: Eiswein.

Together with Yara he also runs the Argent Post, selling copies fresh from the press at every opportunity. He is the gnome to talk to if you wish to work for the newspaper.

Alabast also oversees the scribes illustrating the Archives. A specially created portrait usually goes for between 100G-300G. Guildmasters may purchase a bulk photoshoot for just twice the price.
