Aluuna "Purple" Treeshadow 

Background

Aluuna was born and raised in Ashenvale, a happy and safe childhood. She left the safe forest at a relatively young age to seek adventures and decided to settle in the lands of the human, Stormwind. Shortly thereafter she fell into a life of poverty and thievery. In the earliest years of adulthood she started to work for a criminal guild and stayed there for several months before she was offered a spot in The Shadow Sentinels. Aluuna was slightly shocked at the time because she had always considered the Sentinels to be cold-hearted bastards (which could be more or less true). She later decided to accept the offer, mostly out of curiousity. It proved to affect the rest of her life.

The Sentinels suited the former street-thug perfectly. She quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant and kept that rank during her time within the organisation. The life of a Sentinel was way different from everything she had experienced earlier in her life. They fought warlocks and other forms of corruption on a daily basis and Aluuna happily participated and did her part to vanquish the corruption of Azeroth. As the Sentinels slowly faded, she left the organisaton and decided that she wanted to lead an own Order, to be able to further fight the corrupted and tainted.

The Vanguard Order was created. Together with Trynian Goldhand, Aluuna struggled to build a powerful military group. The Order soon rose to be one of the largest organisations in Azeroth, and before too long they were impossible to challenge.

Somewhere along the way, the exact time is unknown, the two leaders changed. Shortly after they disbanded the Vanguards, something drastic happened that shocked the former members of the Vanguard Order. Documents proving the leaders' corruption were obtained, and they were both arrested by the restored Shadow Sentinels and The Stormguard.

The pair were brought to justice and sentenced to execution. They barely managed to escape the Watch cell, just seconds before being locked up. How it happened is anyone's guess, but Aluuna and Trynian were gone.

After several months of hiding and working in the Outland, the purple Elf appears to be back in Azeroth. She wore the tabard of the Shadow Sentinels once more for a brief while but that time appears to be over. Like many others, Aluuna is currently preparing herself to face the threat of the Scourge.
