Bootse "Boots" Tossbucket 

Background

Bootse "Boots" Tossbucket, son of Belts and Flipskiddle Tossbucket, was born in Gnomeregan, but didn't really get an understanding of what had happened there, what caused his family to flee. His parents explained it all by saying "...and then the politicians came, and brought politics with them. It was all political.".

Boots, raised in a family of proud and respected Garbage Disposal Workers, soon wandered around in Ironforge, collecting and carefully disposing of garbage, earning a decent living. He found his family had left him behind one day, naive as he is, he still believes they are out collecting rats and mayonaise for his birthday. Which was two years ago.  

On his first visit to Stormwind, he heard Nath Shadoweyes offer work as a Watchman in the brand new Stormwind City Watch. The next day he was a proud Recruit of The Watch, and would stay a Recruit for a very long time. He managed to become Head of Investigations and was very proud to recieve the title Head of Cinnamon Coffee as well. As H.O.I. he acted as prosecutor in a few trials, including the trial of former Sgt. Eldal's murderers. As H.O.C.C. he repaired the Coffee Cooking Contraption eight times. When Nath Shadoweyes fled the scene, he was soon given a promotion, upon which he fainted. The day after his promotion to Constable of The Watch, Boots suffered a stroke from the continuos beating given by Hamfist, and got lost in the trams for three months. He never returned to active duty in the Watch, but took up his old line of collecting garbage and selling Rat Kabobs instead.

Boots met Eiswein, who found Boots interesting enough to give him position as Tomekeeper for the The Argent Archives. The Archives and its members have become Boots' new family, providing the little bald gnome with a safe and, at times, comfortable environment.
