Background

HOUSE OF SILVERMIST

House of Silvermist remains a strong bastion of what once was the glory of Quel'Thalas. Its Household buildt around the acient traditions of the Elves who inhabit these legendary lands. Unlike many of the remaining Noble Houses that excist in Quel'Thalas, House of Silvermist also retains many of the Quel'Dorei traditions.. to great anger for many.

With a traditionally neutral stance against the old Alliance, this ancient house often gets under fire from both Quel'Thalas, but also the Horde. Only the pure strength of the house and its allies has kept it safe and intact. Silvermists are often used as diplomats in difficult cases. House of Silvermist has a small embassy stationed in Stormwind until further notice, but with recent events this is soon to close.

Perhaps best know about House Silvermist is its traditional Knight Order. The Order of the Phoenix. When this ancient order was transformed into the Blood Knight Order, the old Lord of the House, Thèren Bèlothon Silvermist, saved all the regalia and inventory of the old Order. And after many years of negotiation with the Lord regent, has been allowed to retain the Phoenix order within his own House. Silvermist Knigths are now a common sight both in City Defences and regional military show of strength.

Another well known fact is that House Silvermist retains a position within its ranks known as the Lore Master. This ancient seat is saved for only the most knowledgeable of Sin'Doreis. The Lore Master has unlimited access to Both House and City archives and serves as a fountain of knowledge for both House members and those who seek his or her aid. The Lore Master has a large staff of Scholars working for him/her in the Grand Archives of the Silvermist estate.

The Current Silvermist Family

Its most recent leader was the aging Lord Thèren Bèlothon Silvermist IV, he took over the seat as head of the family some three hundred years ago at an age of one hundred. Through the centuries this Lord has lead his household through both times of Glory and deafeat.

The old  Lord held the position as Commander of Silvermoon City Defences and a seat of the newly formed City Council. He is a personal ally of the Bloodwind Family, aswell as Shar'Tal and other ancient Noble houses of the realm. Some call him a relic of forgotten times, a relic best removed... yet those who have tried, found that the old wolf could still bite..

In recent time Lord Thèren Bèlothon Silvermist has stepped down as Commander of City Defences and given leadership of the House to his son Nejasu Silvermist. Bèlothon himself functions as an advisor and mentor to his son and his officers.

Update: Lord Thèren Bèlothon Silvermist died the 24th of October.

The Old Lord Silvermist was married to Qiuendiel "Qiùe" Thelesa Silvermist, and with her they raised several children. Of the Silvermist children in House Silvermist there are three girls and two sons, aswell as two adopted sons.

Not much is known about the trueblood children of the old Lord of their current whereabouts, however his two adopted sons are in his service. Almeran Silvermist is the oldest of all his sons, and the recently adopted Nejasu Silvermist the youngest. Nejasu has excelled in his Knight training and was for a long time the leader of the Temple Section.

Lord Nejasu Silvermist I - The young Lord of the House, recently instated after the old Lord, Thèren Bèlothon fell ill and old age made leadership hard.

Lord Bèlothon Silvermist IV - The old lord of the House, who now holds an advisory role, and keeps much to himself awaiting the judgement of father time. One of the last Grand Master Bloodknights in service with the Order. ((Dead))

Ranger Captain Illviden E'lfen Swiftsun, the most senior of the current officers with the longest time within House Silvermist. Promoted to his post by Lord Bèlothon in the early days of the modern House. He commands the renown Ranger Section of the House.

Leosian Othràim Amandil, The Loremaster and Keeper of all knowledge within House Silvermist. Leosian leads the libary section, and has unlimited access to House and city Archives. He is often seen as the right hand of the Lord Silvermist.

Táwiel Silverleaf, Knight Commander of House Silvermist. She leads the legandary Silvermist Knights, known throughout the realm as Dragoons. A skilled Knight with a good reputation amongst her peers.

Ambassador Eleanara Da'Thaniel, leader of the Diplomatic Section of House Silvermist, and the one to turn to if an alliance or other diplomatic action is desired with us. A brilliant negotiator and a noteable person in the Silvermoon Diplomatic corridors.

Grand Templar Archenon Duskrider, leader of the Temple Section of House Silvermist. This section houses our healers and Scholars within the Holy Ligth. They have their own little Knight Section aswell known as Templars, who in a time of war will support the Knights under Táwiel. Sir Duskrider is the spiritual advisor to Lord Silvermist.
