Background

The Legitimate Business Club was first created as a unifying factor between Stormwind's many independent criminals. The fabled Old Town Blades had disintegrated, and there was a gap for someone the fill. A relatively unknown Gnome, Shifte, made a deal with then-friends such as Dracko, Duckular, Gasz and Ryle which would last even unto this day. They would be a consortium of companions who would work together to make as much money as possible.

Although the Club has taken many forms, and gone through three leaders, it has always maintained the running of the Pig and Whistle tavern in the Old Town of Stormwind. However, one could not help but notice the increase in Organised Crime since the coming of the LBC - the robbery of the Stormwind Bank during Shifte's era, the great Cathedral Theft of Duckulars tenure and the Exodar Operation of Ryle's scheming. With the newest Chairman, Cerelia Syodor however, it seems the Club may finally be cleaning up its act.
