Moppentoff Speekanspell 

Background

Born into the Speekanspell family, a renowned Gnomish family well known in the business world for using magic in their work, Moppentoff spent most of her early years in the mountainside mansion with her brother, Cologne. Her brother was the only male heir to the family, and so was destined to lead the business. This did not bode well however, and only a year after taking the reigns of the Speekanspell Perfume business, the companies profits had plummeted. The many problems that plagued the company were well documented in the Gnomish tabloids, and the family became the laughing stock of the Gnome world. When Gnomeregan was lost, this became the last straw for Moppentoff, who decided to oust her brother and take over the fledging company. Cologne however, had long gone. He had fled to Stormwind, where he made a name for himself orchestrating numerous schemes with the Legitimate Business Club and selling what little bottles of perfume he had left.

Moppentoff, six months after taking over the company in Colognes absence and bringing it back on its feet, traced her brother all the way to Stormwind, only to find he had disappeared in mysterious circumstances. After searching most of Stormwind, she gained a love for the quaint architecture and surprisingly varied peoples. She decided to make herself known, and gave a series of large donations to the Keep. The sheer generosity of her actions made the nobles of the keep make a controversial decision, and appointed her the title of Baroness, the first Gnome, and non-human for that matter, to ever be given such a title. She decided to stay in Stormwind and see what her donations were going towards. This led her directly to the doors of the Stormwind City Watch, who she became the official Keep representative and liaison to shortly after.

Currently, she has renounced her Baronhood and taken her resources from what she sees as the "superstitious and cowardly lot" known as the Nobility of Stormwind.
