Biography:

Narath Aegir E.- (?) Stonebrow joined the League on the founding day as a First Batch recruit. In a recruiting interview with High Explorer Magellas, Stonebrow gave his profession as "a former soldier, a mountain-climber, an amateur historian and odd-job-man", which seems to have satisfied H. E. Magellas. Further investigations into the matter failed to provided records on S.'s past. His military file, if existent, has been unfortunately misplaced.

During the internal revision following the move into the new Explorers' Hall, discreet inquiries in S.'s domestic circle established that S. was born in the Stonebrow mining compound high up in the Khaz mountain range. He seems to have been schooled in the art of prospecting and has in the past displayed a miner's professional knowledge that goes beyond amateur dabbling. Yet S. apparently found the inside of the ore tunnels too dull for his tastes and thus made off to join the army. It is unclear where or if he fought in any of the wars and due to aforementioned misplacement of his military file, no further background could be established.

It has also never been satisfactorily established what the "E." in his name stands for, although speculations claim it is an abbreviation for the honor of bearing his great-grandfather's middle name (Gorthang Edna Kraghauler). Direct inquiries have merely resulted in violent outbursts on S.'s part and subsequently been abandoned.

Activities:

S. is a (suspected founding) member of the notorious Weary Boots circle and has thus proven to be difficult to motivate for our efforts directed at the Alliance war effort. He has also repeatedly and openly criticized H.E. Magellas and the League council for their involvement in the Alliance prospecting operations.

While his attitude is occasionally hard to integrate into the modern-day Explorers' League, it in no way diminishes his skill (and sheer luck) as an explorer. S. has been involved in most major digs the League has maintained and is reknown - some would say notorious - for going beyond the call of regular duty and opening up unauthorized digs of his own. This, again, ties in with the Weary Boots and their oftentimes radical activities. Despite that, S.'s still formidable connections to the older members of the League have thus far always procured the required and severely belated official sanctioning for his projects.

Addendum:

Haven't managed to establish more than superficial contact with S. about his findings at the Iceflow Lake. Suspect R. Wulfhardt's involvement in keeping League business from the League. No repercussions possible as no proof has been uncovered. S. seems to be even more of a loose cannon than the initial assessment allowed for.
