BOOTCAMP TACTICAL:
Below are outlined the basic War tactics used in training and on the battlefield which all Thistle Infantry must be familiar with:
SKIRMISH/SPREAD-OUT:
Often used under bombardment or when attempting to cover a larger area, this tactic demands that troopers spread out evenly to the sides during their advance.
SHIELDWALL:
Used when facing situations of concentrated melee combat, the most durable of soldiers create a forward linear bulwark providing cover and protection for ranged personnel.
FIRELINE:
Ranged troopers form a line towards adversaries and rains down death and destruction. Melee personnel remains right behind them, ready to step forward in case of enemies coming too close.
