Proclamation of Warning

Issued by Ironforge High Command

It is with a heavy heart, that I, High Commander Deroel Thunderbeard, of the Third Khaz Modan regiment (The "Loch Modan Marksmen"), sign this document. It is with a heavy heart, that I should have to do this, especially to soldiers whom have served well, and will always serve well.

To see someone's courage waver in battle is indeed understandable; to see someone leave in such times of near peace - that is something disgusting. Despite this, however, many have seen fit to leave the regiments of Ironforge without reason, warrant or dismissal. This, in the eyes of Ironforge and all of the Dwarven kingdom of Khaz Modan's military minds, is known as conspiracy, traitorous activity and above all, desertion.

No commander should have to take this matter anywhere beyond the frontlines. No see it there. No commander should have to look upon soldiers, brave, young soldiers, whom he has personally trained, and think, "You're a traitor. You left the regiment. You have to die."

However, some would see fit to bring sadness to the hearts of Dwarven commanders. Some would see fit to desert, to leave a gaping hole ranks.

That is why, by order of Ironforge, King Magni Bronzebeard and all other commanders under the Mountain, that I issue this proclamation, to be spread throughout the land, over the Kingdom of Khaz Modan, beyond to Stormwind's mighty stones, and then through the land and unto the temples of Darnassus, the lights of Exodar; to every Alliance settlement under the sun of Azeroth. Let it be spread beyond, intond, and to the mighty sanctuary of Shattrath. Bring it to Honor Hold, to all towns of the Alliance, for we will not tolerate.

No commander should see the day he executes his own solders, but desertion is no joke. Desertion means death.

So which will it be? Flee now, you wretched traitors, or be prepared to be captured, court marshalled and killed. Ironforge does not tolerate. Remember that. Remember all of this, for your life hangs in the balance.
