Background

Riado is not whom he has claimed to be for the last several months. Several years back, Riado had met a man. A warrior. The last of the Keltoi. Riado was still a young Paladin. The Warrior had been part of the Scarlet Crusade, though ran away from them after his tutor attacked him. Befriending Riado over a pint or five, the Warrior, told Riado of whom he was and what he wished. He told Riado of the hope of Revolution and the longing to remove the nobility. Riado, unlike this man, was nothing. He was weak, lost, and plain. The Warrior was strong, proud and full of colour. The two travelled with each other around the Eastern Kingdoms for some time. The Warrior never held back, attacking foes of greater strength and through his bravery succeeding. Riado, however would cower and allow the Warrior to lead the charge.

Eventually, Riado became bitter of his friend. Unable to match a person such as him, he began to plot and scheme, the Warrior unaware of his friends betrayal that was to be. It happened within Duskwood. Riado, whilst the Warrior fought the undead that plague that land, stabbed the Warrior in the back. None the less, the Warrior fought off the Undead, before falling from Riado’s attack. The bleeding Warrior held no hatred to his friend, though. He simply told Riado “Now redeem yourself, not in my eyes, but in the eyes of the light...”

Riado, however went insane through guilt and took on the personality and identity of the Warrior, only keeping his own name through his insanity induced confusion. Living out the Warriors dreams, it was not until recently that Riado realised whom he truly was. Thus he disapeared abrupbtly a few months back and has only recently been spotted in the Eastern Kingdoms.

Only time will tell, how Riado will act now...
