And there she was, and so was she.
'You know, my small love, you have your fathers ears.'
Eliras moved her elbow just a inch or two, by doing so she moved it closer to the little wonder called Edhellen and caused her to grip the fabric of her sleave. Both their lips curled up into a smile, but only Eliras' eyes were gazing at Edhellen, while her little god had her eyes closed.
The soft cooling wind that everybody in the city had been praying for the entire night as the heat was insane this summer stroked trough the room, making Eliras' hair fly up a bit and slap her acrose the face. Trynian lay behind Edhellen, his hand resting on their daughters body. Oh my how small it made her look next to him, but then again, she was still a small wonder but growing so fast.
That Tabard, she was stupid, she should have kept her eyes off it as she had officialy planed to do. But somthing had pulled her eyes to the mess in the corner off the room where Trynian had trown down his clothing when he had steped into the room and she pretended to be asleep. As long as she had managed to hold herself back, her eyes now gazed at it with a focus almost strong enough to make it burst out in flames born out of pure hate.
'So near the bed she sleeps in.. He brought it so close to her, how close will it get?' Eliras spoke those words to herself as she stood up rather instable, almost falling down, clearly she should go to sleep but she just could not. The clothing pile fell over slightly, pieces of armor and cloth rolling over the floor making almost no sound, but a in this sleepless night enough to give Eliras a instant headace. 'How could he do such a thing, bring it so close to us, the colors inches from the bed she sleeps in'.
She wraped her arms around her knees while she kneeled down to stare at the tabard, smirking at her with it's horrible and teasing colors. 'They will hurt us again. They all will, they always do!' It had been the first thing that went trough her mind when she saw the tabard of The Shadow Sentinels resting on his chest. Such a strong and powerfull chest, holding the power to create words that could fordge a army out of every person who listened to them.
'Your one of the most strong woman who walks this world.'
He had said it allot, and she never agreed on it in a single way. How could she agree on it if all these things kept walking into the house she was trying to build up for them, while she fought so hard to stop it. Wich god, or ray of light, had cursed them in such ways that this all happend over and over?
Ofcourse she knew he did it for Edhellen and Her, to protect them and make sure they could walk to streets like normal people. But she was not to stupid to know it would not end up like that, did he believe it would end up like this, or was he just keeping up some show for her? Would he step back into this all by his own free choice, or would sombody play tricks on his mind?
Would he be tricked into being a leader again, or would he perhaps this time be nothing but a pawn in a master plan, used and then trown away to be given back to her in a coffin. 'Don't expect us to be friends.' She whispered it towards the Tabard as she grabed it in her one hand with her nails sinking into it slightly. Her hand trembled a few times as she held it tight enough to almost make the thick fabric shred itself into pieces before she trew it down.
It was to late, she moved her hand up to stop herself but she could not in time, the tears were running down her face as she stood up with anger. Swinging her body in one fast turn she lost her balance and hit the ground hard, her head hitting a small table first everythign went blank for a while. When she opened her eyes again she knew she had not passed out because Edhellen was staring at her from the bed with two small worried eyes. A little hand outstrethed to Eliras, she stood up again and walked over and grabed her little girl from Trynian's hand.
Walking a cirkle trough the room trying to make their wonderfull daughter fall asleep again her thoughts caught up with her again. Thoughts she had not had for ages, plans, paper work type of work, ideas of getting everythign done, the ideas she used to be able to have when she was still a councillor.
Edhellen yawned before she fell asleep in her mothers soft embrace and made her snap back to now. Walking over to the bed fast she did not even slip out of her dress and lay herself down on the sheets, Trynian still below them as she turned her back towards him and held Edhellen in her arms before she too got lost into the world where her dreams still felt real.
