| Outward Appearance | Dressed in loose-fitting plate and often a long brown cloak-and-hood, he appears to be quite a humble man. His weathered face and greying hair betray his age. His weapons consist either of a large mace, clearly a paladin's, or a smaller mace matched with a shield. |

Background
Jeredon was born on a farm in Tirisfal some fifty years ago to Steven and Elaine Stonehewer, and spent much of his early years being raised to take over working the land when he came of age. However, he soon discovered an affinity for the few books that lay about the farmstead, and decided that his fate lay elsewhere in the world. Though his parents initially refused to allow him to leave, they soon came around when they heard he was to train with the Clerics of Northshire, and sent him away with their blessings.
During his travel south, he would stop at local taverns to speak with the locals there, and learn new things about the world. By the time he had reached Northshire, Jeredon was already quite well-learned for his age, and quite capable of the lessons before him. Weeks and months passed by, and the Philosophies of the Light became second nature to the farm-boy, who had learned respect, tenacity and compassion even before he could read.
Following the events of the First War, Jeredon was eager to join the new militant wing of the Holy Order, and travelled to Stratholme to train under Uther and the clerics as a Knight of the Silver Hand. As was typical of many of the first Paladins, he was given a suffix to his name, his being "The Wise", though little reason has been given other than his inquisitorial nature.
The events of the second war flashed by him as he rushed to the front lines to rally the men and tend to the wounded, as indeed did the Third War, barring the events that lead to the disbanding of the Order and the death of Uther Lightbringer. Following the footsteps of several of his brother-knights, Jeredon chose to go into seclusion and prepare, living a nomadic lifestyle and following the roads less-travelled, often stopping by to aid injured travellers, or simply finding an inn to rest his feet and learn about the new world.
He recently travelled to the far north, on a mission to protect a caravan from Dalaran, however things went awry and the mission became a failure. All 7 of the Magi and 10 of the Knights he travelled with were killed while making the journey, two of the remaining knights stayed in Valgarde seeking revenge, while Jeredon travelled to Stormwind with the remaining injured Knight. Despite his best efforts, not sleeping for three weeks and researching for a way to save him, the last Knight died in his arms. Unknown to most of his allies, however, this Knight was in fact Jeredon's only son, the only remaining member of his family. He has not been seen in some time.
