The fourth war?

Unsettling in the major cities
Hostility between the Alliance and Horde has been apparent ever since they had split into the two seperate factions, in cases such as Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley. This also includes minor attacks on each other's outposts and minor towns. Despite this 'normality', Horde now have been sighted more and more frequently within the City walls of the Alliance, mainly Stormwind, and organised attacks have been made on two highly-regarded leaders within the past week. These fierce combats against Exodar and Darnassus, along with threats by Frostwolf Officer Tardon that the Horde "will no longer tolerate their oppression", begs the question: Are we soon to be at War with the Horde?

Watchmen Stance
In an interview with Adjutant Kyrisha Fayth of the Stormwind City Watch, it became apparent that the Watch will use no proactive force against this Horde threat. Concerning the attack on Arch Druid Staghelm , Miss Fayth claimed she was "rather shocked to find out they managed to get that far into Darnassus [as] it is heavily guarded by the [elven] Sentinels". She was admittedly not as 'clued up' about the protection of Exodar, but she added "it appears this Horde force is a rather serious threat". When asked whether the Stormwind City Watch has organised defense for the City, the Adjutant stated "we are not much involved with the defences of the City itself", but if all other military forces failed then "we will gather all remaining citizens inside the Command Center and try to ensure their safety in there - with arms, if needed".
Miss Fayth also added, when asked whether she wished to say anything to the Argent Post readers about the threat, that "regarding the situation, I have faith in our current military forces to keep the Horde away from our City, but I also ensure them they can seek cover in the Command Center if necessary".

Marksmen Stance - Battle against the Horde
Deroel Thunderbeard, Commander of the Loch Modan Marksmen, along with Khaz Nodan, Earnanth Stonerend (otherwise known as Naxgrim) and Brigadier Caeldian, the Marksmen's Special Operations Officer, took the time on the day before the 'Call to Arms' to speak to the Argent Post about the Horde threat and their retaliation to said threat. The Commander claimed that the attack about to be launched on the Horde was ordered by the "High Command in Ironforge", from which the Marksmen take their orders, but when asked how he felt personally about the attacks and threat to the Alliance, he said:
"Well, I've got a promise to the Horde. Any attack made against the Alliance will be paid for double, in blood. That's how I feel."
No great threat
However, he then added that "there is no threat against the Alliance" and that "the Horde are just scum to be dealt with, not a threat. We just clean up the world". He also believed that "[the Horde] are meddling with affairs too big for them" and that the attack will be "eradicating vermin". Corporal Nodan then noted that they had "operations to deal with the Horde", but any more information concerning the 'Operations' could not be disclosed. Concerning the 'Call to Arms', the Commander told the Post that "It's a gathering of Alliance troops, not seen much before. The Great Wars, first, second and third, each had a Call. This is the same," perhaps alluding to the possibility that these threats may lead to a 'Fourth War'.
The Commander hoped that "every able-bodied person would attend". Marksman Stonerend, perhaps slightly intoxicated at the time, added "Or be branded a coward!". Stonerend also made comments about his feelings on the Horde, such as 'That Horde should stop messing with things too powerful for them. The Alliance could kill them easy" and, concerning battle plans, that "Horde are stupid - they don't know right from left. We have better tactics and stronger troops".
Call to Arms
The attack against the Horde will take place on Saturday 26th July, and all able-bodied soldiers are encouraged by the Loch Modan Marksmen to attend.
The Stance of the Sentinels
Captain Jazeel Spade of the Shadow Sentinels said, when asked for the Sentinel's opinion of this threat, "''Dat 'ees not our concern". Through some research, the Argent Post believes this to mean "That is not our concern".
Stance of the Argent Dawn Crusaders.
Captain Rauikos Blackbeard of the Argent Dawn Crusaders also spoke to the Post today, informing them that he believes that a War would be "Outrageous and idiotic - a threat to the entire world".
Watch Support
Adjutant Kyrisha Fayth wishes the "Loch Modan Marksmen best of luck in fighting off the Horde, and I surely hope they can put a stop to these attacks. I encourage all available soldiers to assist them."
