Background

Current Activities:

• Investigations into Dark Iron activity surrounding the League intensify
• September 8th: Open House at the Ironforge Museum RP event in the Explorers' Hall of Ironforge, open to all (details to follow)
• Coming soon: launch of a free-for-all weekly RP gathering at a yet-to-be confirmed location (details are slowly becoming clearer)
• Late September: The Siege of Angor Fortress, the first larger scale open RP event associated to the Shadows of Grim Batol chronicle

Founded by a circle of veteran explorers from the days when the league was nothing more than an assembly of curious historians and wanderers gathering in the backroom of the "Weary Boots Tavern" - hence the name -, the assembly has grown somewhat and branched out since then.

Most Boots still are League members but the necessities (and a looming suspicion that there might be a Dark Iron spy hidden in the League's ranks) have lately led to recruitment of non-League prospectors and Boots with talents more suited to the shadier corners of the Forlorn Cavern.

Currently involved in events that loom over them like a shadow cast forth from ancient times - the titanic age and the Three Hammers War - the Boots are actively looking for more explorers and members with more obscure talents to bolster their ranks.

Note:

We are also always looking for guilds to share RP plotlines with or to square off with (preferrably Dark Irons or Trolls, who have this nasty cultural habit of living in ancient ruins). If you're interested to have some fun with or a go at (not mutually exclusive!) the Weary Boots, give us a holler.
