A Surprising Catch (Event Teaser)

Dun Morogh, a couple of strides north of Brewnall Village. Dawn was approaching.

The fishermen had their daily routine, come rain, sleet or snow - and those three suspects were quite notorious for their almost daily appearances in the icy plains near Ironforge. The fishermen gathered in Brewnall Village for a little early morning pick-me-up, making good use of the last couple of minutes by the fire's warmth, before trudging out across the frozen lake with their ice picks and fishing poles shouldered.

Even in the depth of winter, the surface of the Iceflow Lake did not completely freeze over, and what space the ice did not voluntarily surrender, the dwarves hacked free with their ice picks. Normally, days like these passed uneventfully. The catch was usually good, as was the company, and the dwarves liked it that way.

It almost never happened that they dragged up an ancient relic from the titanic age. In fact, it only ever happened once - today...
