Reports are just flooding in to Stormwind that there has been a vicious attack on the loyalists at the mis-named "Rebel Camp" in northern Stranglethorn Vale.  To see these accusations for myself, I took the first gryphon out to the area.  But from what I'd heard, I still wasn't prepared for what lay before me.

The ground was awash in blood, and the stench of it lay heavy in the humid air of the vale.  Bodies littered the area, but one was found horrifically burnt.  In fact, all the blood had been drained from it, and the spinal cord, brain and heart were missing.  Along with the troll-crafted spears and arrows we found in the region, this pointed to the obvious work of a band of marauding trolls.

Experts say, at this moment in time, that they were probably one of the native tribes living in the Vale, but I beg to differ.  The only survivor, Lieutenant Doren, has yet to come around, his body was found beneath some of the other corpses, unconscious, but until he can speak for himself about this horrific slaughter, here are my findings.

It is true, there were troll-crafted spears and arrows at the scene.  The ground was also covered in raptor footprints, if there had been any doubt about the attackers' identities.   However, it was easy to miss the single set of KODO hoofprints at the scene!  Yes, kodo.  I therefore propose that this attack was the work of none other than the barbaric and bloodthirsty Horde!

To back up this claim, there were reports in Booty Bay about a large gathering of trolls at the Gurubashi Arena, with a couple of orcs and a single tauren among them.  Although we found no footprints belonging to orcs, there were, as I said above, a single set of kodo hoofprints and numerous Tauren hoofprints in the area.

Does the audacity of this ferocious 'alliance' of races know no bounds?  We do not yet know the reason behind this attack, but in light of the recent assaults on the Exodar and Darnassus, I urge the good people of Stormwind to be on their guard, and ask formally that a batallion of soldiers be sent to Darkshire, the next logical place of attack by this 'Horde'.
