There hasn’t been a ball in a while, and past experience shows Balls are a big attraction for members of the roleplaying community. In an attempt to create a Ball that’s a bit more exotic and different, this will be held deep within the Outlands in the settlement of Telredor. Obvious this means difficulty for lower levels reaching the Ball, but fear not, hopefully there will be several warlocks available to transport you.

Transport

If you are a warlock, or have a high level warlock alt, your services would be very much welcome for this event! We would only need you for a short while before the ball begins to summon lower level characters to Telredor in Zangarmarsh. As a reward you will receive one eternally grateful gnome, as well as thanks from the entire Argent Dawn roleplay community!

If you wish to attend the ball on your lower level character, make sure you are online and whisper Tinkerton at 18:30. Obviously summoning cannot be arranged, and will be given on a first come first serve basis, but hopefully everybody will be safely transported! If you have a warlock in your guild or are friends with a warlock, why not save some time and have your character summoned to Telredor during the day or days before the event? Or if you are a slightly higher level, why not get a group together and get escorted to Telredor from Shattrath? (Shattrath can be easily reached via a mage portal). I appreciate this will require a lot of effort from people, but it will all be worth it to have the ball in such a fantastic and exotic location!

Volunteers

As with most events, I would greatly appreciate volunteers to help me with this. While I could technically run most things single handed, such as the contests, this could cause my Gnomish mind to overload and melt. Therefore if anybody wishes to volunteer for the following positions, please send me an in-game mail or message via the Argent Archives:

-          Food and Drink (If you run a tavern in Stormwind or Ironforge, this event could be ideal for you to promote your wares by selling food and drinks at the ball.)

-          Contest Organisers (While I could run most things myself, this would be very difficult and could cause complications on the night, therefore if anybody wishes to run a contest such as the talent show, costume contest or scavenger hunt on my behalf, I would be very grateful! This would require good organisation skills and patience.)

-          Prize Donations (Do you have something cool gathering dust in the corner of your bank? Why not donate it as a prize for one of the night’s various events? Giving is better than receiving as the Dwarven Legend says...)

If anybody wishes to run an activity during the ball they would be more than welcome. Merchants, dancers, fortune tellers would be ideal! If you wish to run an activity, please mail me via the Argent Archives with your idea and I shall add it to the list of the ball’s events.

Finally, this is obviously an Alliance only event. Sorry Hordies!
