Wulfhardt's Findings
Narath,
concerning the stone fragment you presented me with: I am quite nonplussed by it, I am afraid to say. It is very much like the fisherman you spoke to claimed. You cannot scratch it, heat it up, cool it down or in any other way change its state of being.
This, of course, begs the question what managed to shatter it!
I have not yet made significant progress on the runes that cover the fragmet. The sliver is just too narrow for me to decipher a meaning with what little knowledge we have of Khaz'goroth's tongue.
One thing rather stands out, however: almost every line of scripture contains a rune we currently suspect means "awakening" or, alternately, "the breath of life". It is quite possible that we hold in our hands a small glimpse on the words of power that made the Earthen!
I might just be getting ahead of myself, of course - you know me, I tend to enthuse too much - but it is a moot point to discuss until we manage to find the rest of the tablet which, as you suspect, may be in the possession of Thaurissan's lot.
Let us get together before the Odds and Ends Exchange on Monday to plan further progression. I do not dare entrust any more of this to the page.
Light guide your path,
Regar
