To Lord Dawnbringer,

Lord Asraell Dawnbringer,

Your words are not true - The Shadow Sentinels hold the right to do as we see fit with regards to punishing those we find guilty of corruption. We are not an independant organisation - we are a tool of the Alliance - against the internal corruption that festers within our lands. Contrary to your apparent belief, the Watch holds no authority over Nethergarde Keep, nor over what occurs there. The "Trial" of Banyl Dolosen was indeed a ruse - a ploy. This was not a public trial - there was no jury. It was a tribunal. As would befit a member of the authority being tried for taint.

This act was not arranged by the Watch. This is above them. The Watch had minimal involvement until the end of the matter. You are correct - such actions would not be befitting of the Stormwind City Watch. However, such actions are entirely befitting an organisation such as ours. We are not heroes - we are not an group that parades its success. We do what must be done to bring those who are corrupt to justice - and that is that.

As to your proclamation of Shadoweyes lack of guilt - I would be interested in a private discussion of the matter. Perhaps you could take a trip to Nethergarde? I would also suggest you investigate the facts before you make statements. As you have made aware, you where only made clear of these events from a supposed "leaked" report and the information given by the watch - It is entirely unbefitting for a "Lord" to sound foolish by sprouting uninformed nonsense.

Nath Shadoweyes was found guilty by Inquisitorial judgement, which he himself created with the House of Nobles. I would be wary of your defence of the man, "Lord" Dawnbringer. His goals and plans involved removing your very class and replacing it with his own.

Aside from his other schemes - Nath Shadoweyes was found guilty by Stormwind Court of the act of Treason long ago. His release and subsequent assignment to create the Shadow Sentinels had many terms he was to follow in order to maintain his freedom. Shadoweyes had proven unable to perform to the strictures of his release. Nath Shadoweyes will threaten Stormwind, its people, its nobility and its harmony no more.

This is the official statement of The Shadow Sentinels. You may respond in any manner you wish, but we are not obligated to divulge any more information - and thus you can expect no further reply. Enjoy what you have been informed.

- Captain Spade.
