Background
Before the Crash
Sikon was born around three hundred years ago in Shattrath, on the outskirts of the Lower City, in a family that was by no means rich, yet with reasonably more welfare than of those surrounding her. and spent most of her child life as a secluded bookworm, taking interest in history books - especially about the history of the draenei. She rarely left the city, although sometimes - long before the rise of the Horde - she paid visits to orc settlements in Nagrand and tried to socialize with their youth, much to the orcs' confusion.
She had great respect for the Light, viewing it as a life stance rather than a religion, primarily because the interpretation her conservative great-grandmother pushed on her clashed with her materialistic view of the world. Feeling distant from her parents and failing to find another authority figure in her family, she found one in Velen, viewing him as a voice of reason misunderstood even by most of his own people, too radical even by draenei standards.
She desired not to just live by the Light, but to wield its powers to protect her friends - and soon that desire became a reality, as the young Sikon was introduced to paladinhood by the Triumvirate of the Hand. To this day, she suspects that she was not fully worthy of it and there could have been some backstage meddling involved.
When the orcs turned against the draenei and besieged Shattrath, Sikon's parents and younger brother were away on a stay in a small, secluded village in Terokkar, and thus managed to avoid the fate of the majority of the draenei - they still live there. Sikon took her part in the defense of the city, but purely with healing, as she was still refusing to believe deep down that the orcs were now enemies. To this day, she thinks that Velen knew about the upcoming disaster and could have averted it, but chose not to for reasons he saw as the greater good.
As she went into hiding along with the rest of her race, another shock hit Sikon when Khadgar's expedition entered Draenor and in a flash of events too sudden to comprehend, the world was torn apart. As much as she missed the parts of Draenor that were now lost forever, her curiosity about those strangers from that yet-unseen world, Azeroth. She often came undercover to Honor Hold and asked questions about the history and races of Azeroth, although she was often outright mocked or given wildly incorrect information.
Finally, as Velen led the desperate attack on the Exodar, Sikon joined it without hesitation. As the sabotaged city-ship fell through Azeroth's atmosphere, the memory that imprinted in her mind was Teldrassil - looking from above, she was stunned by the sheer size of the World Tree and decided that it would be the first place she would pay a visit to, should she survive... And now, as a young adult with insatisfiable curiosity, she set out to explore this new wonderful world.
In Azeroth
Sikon's path lay through Menethil Harbor - that's where the ship from Auberdine brought her back then - to Ironforge, and then through the Deeprun Tram to the human lands. At first, she made the mistake of settling down around the infamous Goldshire, managing, however, to meet quite a few decent people among the legion of lunatics. Among these were some of her first friends, including Argén and Shorkai.
It was behind Goldshire, at the shore of Crystal Lake, that she met Exarch Hélikaon, who offered her a position in The Fist Of Argus. Eager to serve the interests of her people again, this time in a place generally alien to them, Sikon quickly rose through the ranks to High Vindicator, eagerly attending weekly meetings in Forest Song and establishing good relations with The Silverleaf Scouts -- and at her leisure, mostly spending her time showing off her mooncloth dress in the Stormwind Cathedral Square.
Over time, however, the Fist slowly died down. It was never the same for Sikon since Pasephae just vanished without warning one day, and then the Exarch himself went out of reach, followed by his second in command, Aorelus. Eventually, at the last meeting, on the symbolic date of Love Is in the Air, nobody appeared except her first love, Trizion. Feeling she wouldn't be of much use on the frontlines in Northrend, Sikon was left without a purpose and a force that she could feel part of.
At the same time, Stormwind went into turmoil. The turning point was the massacre of Scarlets that Amarae organized in the Cathedral and its catacombs that day. All the talk Sikon heard about corrupt and inept authorities wasn't enough, but this event almost convinced her to join a rebellion. However, she never believed in violently overthrowing the system -- she wanted to work with the system and change it from the inside.
Determined to become a symbol of nice and dependable authority, Sikon joined the Stormwind City Watch.
On her second day on duty, as a clueless Lance-Constable, she participated in the quelling of the Bloody Tuesday riot, which ended badly as she was knocked out midway. Since then, so far, she has been progressing through the ranks steadily, without major incidents. She eventually reached the rank of Sergeant and aspired to join the Watch's recruitment efforts, treating Master Sergeant Thuy Nightingale as her role model.
Return to Kalimdor
After about four months in the Watch, Sikon grew disinterested with Stormwind, as the streets were practically empty, with neither law-abiding citizens nor criminals in sight. At the same time, she saw new opportunities in the draenei's new home, northern Kalimdor, soon getting in touch with the Disciples of the Naaru and The Silverleaf Sentinels, being especially impressed by Captain Yunaris and her no-nonsense yet open-minded personality. Soon, Sikon left the Watch to stay in Astranaar full-time, and joined the Disciples shortly after that.
Soon, coincidentally, the Disciples fell on difficult times. Weeks went by and people gradually disappeared, and eventually the Triumvirate itself slowly dissolved. A relatively new yet active member, Sikon was appointed by the departing Emissary Kelai to succeed the old leadership.
Since then, three more months have passed by. Sikon remains the de facto leader, sitting in the new Triumvirate alongside Grand Anchorite Yrna and the recently returned Emissary Phaidra. She is concerned with rallying more of her dispersed people under a single banner, and with maintaining good relationships with the kaldorei of Ashenvale.
