Miss Stormwind: Beauty, Glamour, Audience. A few words that jump to mind at the simple phrase, "Miss Stormwind", This year I was sure to be there early and ready with my trusty Snap-O-Rama 3000 because;
One: I love a good Snap of a well dressed person.
Two: I was hired to be there as the main Snapographer with one of only a handful of backstage passes in my possession!

Horatio's Snapographers File on: Miss Stormwind 08; a yearly event this time around hosted by the wonderful Mrs. Cerelia Syodor of the "Legitimate Business Club".

On arriving as I previously wrote early I was surprised as I was not the only one to get there ready and waiting, clearly there was going to competition to get the best seats, let alone the Women competing in the event!

But enough prattling on, you've picked up this file for Snaps and not the writing of a old fool, so with out further writing... THE SNAPS!

As I wrote a large crowd of persons from all over the allaince where ready and waiting for the start of Miss Stormwind 08!

Even the Judges where dressed in fine outfits and some excellent lighting effects topped it off, clearly the Contestants had a lot to live up to!

Back stage the contestants waited to head out in the first round and get the grand show on the road so to speak!

Judging by the look on Mrs. Syodor's face the contestants clearly pleased her, even if Miss Alaesha Astral didn't look pleased.

Miss Ystra was very ready to please as she blew a kiss towards my waiting Snap-O-Rama 3000, instantly becoming my personal favourite.

And clearly the judges where pleased with her as well as she comes skipping backstage to get ready for the next round with a broad grin on her face.

But what's this? the Judges don't agree? well unlike most common folk these judges settle their differences by words and not violence, as Miss Alaesha Astral and Mr Zink Zonk exchange words and opinions on Zink's scores!

While the Judges discuss scores and the finer points of placing ones head up another's backside, backstage Miss Funkles Boomspanner laughs and jokes as she waits to head on out into the grand garden!

While some joked and laughed other contestants where confused as to what to do next and when to do it... clearly looks and dress sense do not carry over onto Intelligence!

Awwww. Not all of the contestants could pull of this technical beauty show move, The shy smile, with blush. It sure was a hit with the Judges and crowd!

Oh dear yet another confused beauty waiting to head on out into the garden, maybe beautiful people naturally get confused in tight spaces and dresses?

After a few grand rounds of fashion and fun the judges took a brake to add up the running scores and announce the progress of the contestants trying to become Miss Stormwind 08!

Also this gave the crowd of people a chance to get up and move around as they had been sitting around for a long time! These things take time don't they know? anyhow many tried to come backstage to wish the contestants good luck and comments on their dress sense, some more vocal than others.

even some of the crowd came in their "best" outfits in an attempt to upstage the contestants... I'll let you judge them on that!

The crowd where ready and waiting as the last round started all eager to find out who would be crowned MISS STORMWIND 08!

Some of the contestants even ended up trying to wow the judges with light effects and big banging fireworks!

Other contestants tried to follow suit... but ended up with only glowing hands.

At the end of the show there was only one winner... Fashion, but really there where two, a first place and a second place, a deputy Miss Stormwind you could say, and her name was Funkles Boomspanner!

Leaving the winner to be crown Miss Stormwind 08 as... Liquessen Emberheart!
