Background

"The King is my cause, the Light is my means":

A former paladin of the Silver Hand (family tradition), stayed in Lordaron after the 3rd war to join the Scarlet Crusade. After learning of the existence of The Inquisition in Stormwind, he took the opportunity to leave the Crusade to escape the horrors in Tirisfal and specialize in demon hunting. In order to leave the Crusade he had to promise to return after completing his training. A promise Taelos made without a doubt, unaware of the strong ties of friendship and honour he would later build with the inquisitors.

"Balance is the key to strength":

While completing his training as an inquisitor, which took several years of service in The Inquisition, he personally added a stay for two years in Kalimdor where he studied demonology from Delgren the Purifier and the Night Elves and subsequently observed the operations of the local unholy cults.

This period studying and observing the effects of shadowmagic and the taint of the Twisting Nether only seemed to strengthen Taelos's view on the Light as the only right way for him to serve the King of Stormwind.

Taelos was elected to join the council of The Inquisition and was later promoted to lead the order after the former Lord Knurft.

Was called to Hearthglen for half a year, only to return to a disbanded organisation due to lack of funds from the Royal Treasury.

He is now an Adept Protector of The Shield of Light. Drawing upon his experience with the Shadow and demonology, he is now spending alot of time writing textbooks and scrolls for use of squires' training. These are attainable should one travel to the abbey in Northshire.

Word has it he's still pulling some strings with old contacts from his former order.
