| Outward Appearance | Sufferus appears as a purple-robed undead, with gaunt body and manically gleaming eyes. He mostly wears a mask, but sometimes it is possible to see his whole face. A hideous, lipless grin and remnants of hair crown the rotted face which could only belong to a madman. He holds a staff fitted with death's head beaming intense cold to nearby surrounding, freezing everything on touch. He always carries number of potions and flasks with him. It's not uncommon to see him dragging a huge pouch behind him, all full of bodyparts and stolen goodies from all around the globe. A plethora of blades of all sorts hang from his belt, ranging from salvaged dragonkin axe to bonesaws. His arrival is heralded with smell of spices and the creaking sound, like he would have sand on his joints. His rotting progress seems to have entirely stopped, though it has already done its ravages. Usually accompanied by one of his over thirty ghouls, his undead moth, Fluffy, His miserably failed frost wyrm experiment Sparky, or his fanatically loyal but shy servant, shade named Wilkinson. Also known to be mounted on his deathcharger, which is inventively named Dave. |

Background
Sufferus has died five times. Once as a human, then scourge, then forsaken, then a necromancer of Acherus, and then something go-between. He doesn't even remember his original name.
Because he has died so many times, and been controlled by Lich King, something has broken in his brains. Whenever Lich King speaks to his still loyal death knights, Sufferus starts hearing the voices of two elves speaking about food. This makes him highly annoyed, and only cure is to bang his head to a wall until the voices disappear. This quirk has become more rare in the passing months, even though it might still happen in some really akward instances.
He has started to amass a collection of undead, which now include over thirty ghouls, including his older brother Rufio, a gargoyle named Watcher, his deathcharger, Dave, his shade, Wilkinson, and his undead moth, Fluffy. He also builds abominations, but people aren't really in to "donating" their bodyparts. He is also experimenting with dragon eggs, trying to raise a frost wyrm.
Sufferus' life started nearly century ago, and he was raised in a typical family along with his brother, Rufio. He became a mage of Kirin Tor, as his brother entered the path of paladin. He was about seventy years old when the plague of undeath struck, causing both brothers to succumb.
Though Rufio became an ordinary ghoul, Sufferus was taken to the necromancy school in Scholomance, where he was trained to become, unsurprisingly, a necromancer.
When Sufferus was first time on the scourge side, he managed to get an addiction to "Bowels n' Brains," a kind of "food" given to ghouls. In his forsaken days, he sneaked to scourge sites in western plaguelands almost dailily, until he was spotted by a shade and stamped flat by an abomination.
After being raised and put back to shape, Sufferus was sent to the newly-built Acherus, along with Rufio. There he was tasked to raise new knights and other undead, which really didn't differ from his "life" today. When the knights were freed, Sufferus joined Horde again.
Sufferus has recently moved to Brill, and he is intending to build the greatest flesh titan ever seen, and will stomp flat every possible pest he might find annoying.
Sufferus has also shown his allegiance to forces of good, and his actions in Silithus and Ahn'Qiraj have earned him the respect of Bronze dragonflight. He has attained the status of a Watcher, granting him basically immortality and few tricks with time. Though not in so active service, he is still gladly willing to hunt down all manner of time-dabbling wizards.
Sufferus is most likely one of the most peculiar people one will see in his whole life. Though his outward appearance may make him look like a crazed murderer with a knack for decapicating people for laughs, in reality... Well... He is like that, but not that "I-go-around-murdering-people-because-it-makes-me-evil." Sufferus murders, robs, experiments on living (more or less) and practices necromancy, but on other hand he also has a soft spot for flowers and animals (particularly those capable of creating venom) and may also spent hours gardening and brewing home-made moonshine. This reveals his most obvious trait: He's missing one loaf from the bread, and often suffers cognitive dissonance, his shattered brain trying to solve complicated problems. This causes him to act erratically at some points, which has earned him both enemies and friends.
Even if Sufferus happens to lack common sense and seemingly is a drooling idiot with unnatural powers, the fact is that his century (or technically, even more because of his time-dabbling) of experience grants him power to draw on unsurmountable amounts of knowledge from almost every path of life, even if it'll pop out in seemingly irrelevant events. He also hides most of his many careers from even from his closest companions, usually because "They didn't ask." And deeper inside his rotten bowels lies knowledge so old and forgotten, so it is practically a secret to everybody. What this secret is, nobody knows, but his sudden interest in ancient books and astrology, accompanied by the growing amount of his collection of peculiar arcane relics, most likely has something to do with it.
