Kal'dorei from - In his natural form K'var stands as a tall and imposing kaldorei. Despite his advanced age he looks youthful and full of life. His green hair often has twigs and leaves strewn through it. From his waist are strung two items:

The Horn he uses to call his Forest Saber and a small bag of seeds.

From his neck hangs his Sigil - a chunk of bark with a glowing leaf emblem etched into its surface.

---

Cat form – In this form K’var has dark fur and bright silver markings on his face and shoulders. The cat’s eyes shine with a dull-silver glow, almost as though they are reflecting the moons light. His claws are sharp and around his neck continues to hang is Leaf Sigel etched into Bark.

---

Bear form – In this form K’var is not as large as the other Bear forms adopted by Druids, he looks like an adolescent bear, but a trimmed and well kept one. Silver Markings of the moon again adorn his shoulders and from his neck continues to hang his Leaf Sigel.

---

Travel form – Taking the traditional form a slinky and agile leopard, K’var continues to carry the silver markings on his shoulder blades, a stark contract from his otherwise ‘Barrens’ Leopard appearance. From his neck still hangs his Leaf Sigel

---

Aqua form – A majestic and streamlined Sea lion. His eyes glow with a dull silver light and his shoulders bare the silver lunar markings as from his other forms. His Leaf Sigel continues to hang around his neck, though he carries it in his mouth while swimming.

---

Treant – His skin has turned to bark which is coloured in a light autumnal brown. Green leaves adorn his head and arms and several small branches come off his body. From his neck hangs his Sigel. Closing his eyes, he can soon be lost amongst the other plants in the forest.

Background

Born in Ara-Hinam to a conventional family K’var grew up with his mother being a huntress and his father a healer. K’var grew up to follow his father’s path and became medic – helping cure infections and heal wounds using simple – non-magical methods and potions.

With the War of the Ancient upon them K’var sided with the Resistance against the Highborne and worked under Ravencrest as a Medic. It would be in the Resistance he would meet his future Shan’do – Captain Remiel Forestpaw who was himself a solider under Ravencrest’s command. Remiel led a small unit of twenty three Kaldorei – to whom K’var was their medic. It was here that K’var met Aska Forestpaw – younger brother to Remiel Forestpaw.

With the conclusion of the War and the sundering of the World many Kaldorei males took to learning the same Druidic Arts as the great Shan’do Stormrage. Those Kaldorei who served with Remiel in the Resistance studied together for a great many years – taking great interest in learning from the Keepers, Dryads and the sons of Cenarius. It was some time later that the first druidic Dens started to form. Some of the more prominent groups were the Druids of the Claw and the Druids of the Talon.

Remiel took time to contemplate his options and elected to form a small den that would dedicate it’s self to serving the forest – adopting the leaf at their Totem, the Druids of the Forest were formed. Remiel went before Cenarius and swore that the small Den would forever be in his service and that of the Keepers and Dryads. With this, the Den fell from Kaldorei society and elected to spend its time in seclusion within the forest.

Around two hundred years later the Druids of the Forest followed their Shan’do into the Dream, it would be the last physical act of the Den in the waking world. Little did they know as they moved to sleep in the depths of the Dor’Danil Barrow Den, that nine thousand years later, twenty two of them would not emerge.

The library in Nighthaven was the only place in which what little information there was on the Druids of the Forest could be found. Listed alongside a registry of other Dens, and between the folds of an ancient scroll on the Emerald Dream rested K’var’s Sigil.

Druid Baelas who was studying the Emerald Dream happened across the scroll, and opening it found the Sigil of their Den. With this and some additional research he was able to locate the Den that the Druids slept in, and set out with an expedition with the blessing of Remulos to locate these forgotten Druids.

With his awakening K’var has had to adjust to the many changes in both the world and the manner of his people. Taking time to contemplate his options and read up on the history of his people and the druids which he’d slept through. Musing over the oath he’d taken along with the rest of his Den K’var approached Remulos. As the Druids of the Forest were bound to serve with the Keepers and the Dryads under Cenarius, the re-formed Den would uphold this ancient oath and as such transferred their service to Keeper Remulos. It is from this point the Druids of the Forest once again return to the forest as to serve nature, K’var guiding them as best he can.
