Background

THE BURNING CRUSADE

● Leading several successful skirmishes against the Troll infestation within the Ghostlands, Xanthios makes a name for himself.

● Xanthios is sent to the war-torn world of Outland with many others.

● Xanthios' commanding Champion is slain in battle, causing him to be promoted to Emergency Commander in his place.

● Xanthios meets Sethiros Lightmerger, a former Blood Knight, and convinces the unorthodox Paladin to rejoin the Order.

● After successfully rendering one of the Manaforges in Netherstorm useless, Xanthios returns to Silvermoon City.

● Enjoying fame and fortune, Xanthios earns himself a promiscuous reputation as he indulges in the best Silvermoon City has to offer.

● Xanthios meets Elystra Sunbloom and falls in love.

● Xanthios disagrees with many of the Magisterium's decisions and viewpoints and begins to act independently. Due to his reputation as a Knight-Commander sections of the Blood Knight Order begin to follow his example. A long political fued between the Blood Knight Order and the Magisterium begins.

● Elystra Sunbloom is murdered. Xanthios falls into despair and self-loathing, causing his political campaign against the Magisterium to fall apart.

● Xanthios is soon sent back to Outland with a division of Blood Knights under his command to eradicate the remaining Sunfury Sin'dorei in Netherstorm.

● After some successful skirmishes, reports indicate that Xanthios committed treason against his own people, attacking those within his unit and murdering several of them. Xanthios is arrested and brought back to Silvermoon City.

● Due to his service record with the Blood Knight Order and the war effort in Netherstorm, Xanthios narrowly escapes execution by a vote of one. Instead, Xanthios is incarcerated within Ameth'sin; a prison hidden away within the depths of Quel'thalas, ran by Magister Sinthis.

WRATH OF THE LICH KING

● Knight-Champion Himeshi Firebrow of the 21st Division releases Xanthios from his eternal imprisonment and escorts him back to Silvermoon City to serve as a Knight-Master. She reminds him that he is still considered a traitor to the Sin'dorei.

● Xanthios meets Serethia Ashfall and begins a relationship with her.

● Xanthios joins the 23rd Division, headed by Knight-Lady Himeshi Firebrow.

● Xanthios is accused of attacking Magister Sinthis and subsequently imprisoned below the Halls of Blood. After investigation and interrogation, Xanthios is released without punishment.

THE CATACLYSM

● Xanthios comes into possession of a Runeblade and becomes addicted to the power it offers.

● Xanthios meets Liniya Sunflare and forms a deep bond of friendship with her.

● Xanthios is accused of attacking Magister Sinthis once again. After investigation and interrogation, Xanthios is charged with attempted murder on a Magister. He is punished accordingly by Himeshi Firebrow.

● Xanthios' mind is affected by an agent of the illusive Orchestra which causes him to fly into a jealous rage and attempt to kill Tirale Rill'an. Upon capture, Xanthios is cleansed of the mind affecting magic and released.

● Xanthios dissapears. Some suspect it's because Magister Sinthis personally joined the 23rd Division, others believe it's because Serethia Ashfall ended their long-standing relationship. He is considered AWOL and wanted for desertion.
