Azlokk stands as a 8 foot tall tall, musular tauren. A scar is clearly evident on his face due to fighting in Northrend. His fur is a grand shade of brown. His horns are rather short but his beard is entirerly the opposite dangling from his face in a braided knot.

Personality:

Azlokk is a rather cool headed, calm tauren with the intention of fighting only as a VERY LAST resort, he'd rather fight again in a war worth fighting than win a war without honor. Now he's retired Azlokk has became a more thoughtful and tauren. So if for example a Horde soldier was to brutally kill an Alliance soldier, he would consider whether he would step in.

Weapons

Now that he's retired Azlokk has passed his old military armour and weapons onto his nephew. Perhaps one day they shall be wielded again by a different owner.

Companions

Zalnok - Azlokk's snow leopard companion. Azlokk found Zalnok in a terrible state while hunting in Winterspring, it most likely belonged to an Alliance hunter. Azlokk ultimately nursed the snow leopard back to health. Zalnok is now a fine healthy snow leopard of great strength and stealth. Azlokk lets Zalnok roam around the snowy peaks on Winterspring, an environment that seems fit for the great cat

Turokk -  Azlokk's boar companion. Azlokk befriended this boar while hunting in Mulgore, he named the boar Turokk in memory of a friend who died while fighting in Northrend. Azlokk was usually seen with his boar companion while walking around Orgimmar. However, Turokk was unfortunately killed when the Cataclysm struck. He was grazing in The Barrens when all of a sudden the land was divided.

Senab - Azlokk's beloved owl. Azlokk found and befriended this majestic owl in the thick jungles of Feralas. After he had reached the end of his journey in Ferlalas the owl followed him. From there on out Azlokk and the owl became inseperable companions, and friends. Soon after, Azlokk named the owl Senab in honour of his brother.

Khargrak - Azlokk's wolf companion. Azlokk befriended this mighty wolf whilst taking a stroll in Durotar. The wolf was much more independant than any of Azlokk's other companions, yet had tremendous strength and even showed signs of greater courage. Azlokk named the wolf Khargak, in honour of an old friend.

Talama - Azlokk's lioness companion. During the battle in The Barrens, Azlokk came across a lone lioness in the wilderness. Azlokk tried to walk away, but the lioness followed him. Eventually Azlokk stopped and pondered what the lioness was doing. So he offered her a small peice of kodo meat, which the lioness accepted. And so the lioness followed Azlokk back to base and thus started another friendship.

Background

Azlokk Bloodhoof, son of Belzokk, Bloodhoof tribe

Birth

Azlokk was born in The Barrens, his parents Belzokk and Natall were warriors of The Bloodhoof Tribe and highly respected ones at that. He usually spent his early childhood eating, sleeping and walking...before sleeping again. Belzokk watched as his son grew up just waiting for the right moment to start training him. His moment came.

Bloodhoof Tribe

When Azlokk was age seven, Belzokk decided the time was right to start training his son in the ways of the great hunt and the arts of war, and as a part of the Bloodhoof tribe he often travelled as a nomadic being, but wherever he stayed his father always found time to train him, very soon he elders noticed Azlokk growing in skill, it was time to earn his place amongst the tribe and at age fifteen he became known as Azlokk Bloodhoof, son of Belzokk Bloodhoof.

The centaur and results after

When the centaur attacked the nomadic tauren Azlokk took up arms and tried to defend his lands, but to no prevail. His people were overrun and in need of aid, then came Thrall...the saviour of the tauren. After Thrall had more or less convinced Cairne to join the Horde, Azlokk was now going to fight in The Third War

The Battle of Mount Hyjal

Azlokk along with a few more tauren ventured with the rest of the Horde to Mount Hyjal. After holding of several tides of enemies Azlokk and the others saw Archimonde charge towards the Horde fortress. The warriors of the Horde stood proud, ready to make their final stand. However, Jaina Proudmore was thankfully able to teleport most of the surviving troops to safety. After word reached Azlokk and the others of Malfurion Stormrage's incredible feat, Azlokk decided to stand strong to his commitment to the glorious Horde war machine

Training and stations

After months of intense training in Orgimmar, Azlokk and the platoon he belonged to were told they were going to Ashenvale to fend off The Silverwings. They were stationed in Splintree Outpost. After several battles in a place known as The Warsong Gulch word then reached Azlokk's regiment that they were going to Desolace to defend the lands from the undead and Azlokk's old enemy the centaur. After one particular tense battle with the centaur Azlokk was promoted to senior sergeant for his bravery and dedication. Then came the bad news, after years of fighting, Azlokk and the platoon were going to Northrend to eradicate the deadly scourge. Eventually, Azlokk and his battalion arrived in Warsong Hold, Borean Tundra. This was to be their station until told otherwise. Not long after arriving, Azlokk and his battalion knew the problem they would be facing...the nerubians, many lives were lost to the insects. There was also another problem however...the Alliance. The two factions often fought over land to extend their territories, but they were more focused on eradicating the nerubians. After one particularly fierce and bloody battle the nerubians were forced back, this seemed like a major victory to the Horde, so they celebrated. However, word then reached Azlokk that a massive scourge battalion was massing in the west. Azlokk knew what was to come, and so one day the soldiers of the Horde marched west to deal with the scourge. There they faced ghouls, skeletons, cultists and even undead boars. All that Azlokk could hear was the clashing of blades, the firing of bullets and arrows and the cries of war. Then, after a very long fierce and bloody battle...the scourge was defeated. That night, songs of victory echoed through the Keep. The next day however, the nerubians launched another assault; everything was back to normal...in a bad way.

Back with The Bloodhoof

"He's dead! The Lich King is dead!" Overlord Saurfang roared. With that, Azlokk and every other soldier cheered. Their campaign in Northrend had finally drawn to an end! Azlokk and his battalion, after being dismissed caught the first zeppelin back to Orgrimmar. After arriving in Orgimmar Azlokk instantly caught the next zeppelin to Thunder Bluff, he was with his people once more. Azlokk now aged seventy was greeted warmly by this people. He returned to his native ways of the great hunt. It was during this time that Azlokk befriended a Boar which he then went on to name Turokk in memory of a friend who fell in Northrend. Alas, Azlokk was once more recognised amongst his tribe as not only a warrior, but also a hunter. After months of hunting and all sorts Azlokk was informed by a friend about The Moklohn Command, Azlokk then rode out to Orgimmar once more.

The Moklohn

After arriving in Orgimmar Azlokk came across some Moklohn soldiers and then everything seemed to speed up from them, he attacked the quillboar, the centaur and even helped reclaim the Echo Isles for the Darkspear tribe. Azlokk still remains a loyal Bloodhoof warrior as well as a Moklohn.

Rising in the ranks

Azlokk was focused on proving to The Command that he was a capable soldier and worthy of becoming a Grunt, and that paid off it seems. While the Moklohn were temporarily stationed in Stonard, Swamp of Sorrows, Azlokk was promoted to Grunt and placed in the Maruader regiment due to his skills with a rifle and bow. Now that Azlokk had became a worthy soldier of The Moklohn his ambitions changed, he no longer wanted to prove he was a worthy soldier, he wanted to prove that he was an excellent soldier who was disciplined. However, during an inspection Azlokk got quite a bit of a surprise. General Ravenfeather and Warlord Ironfist had decided to promote him to Stone Guard of the Marauder regiment, a rank that gives one a small amount of leadership over his/her regiment. Azlokk, who wasn't expecting this at all at first then had a change of mind once more. He now wanted to be able to show the officers that they hadn't made a mistake in promoting him, and that he was capable of leading soldiers. Azlokk still holds this rank with pride and honour.

Missing

One day while on duty in Orgimmar a death knight named Tekkarjan approached Azlokk with the decapitated head of Recruit Zukoljin of The Moklohn Command. Azlokk and Tekkarjan spoke hostily. Eventually Tekkarjan told Azlokk that he had buried the corpse in the snowy mountains of Howling Fjord. The two of them took a zeppelin or two and eventually arrived in Vengeance Landing, Howling Fjord. After they had summoned their wyverns Tekkarjan led Azlokk to where he had buried the body. After touching down on a rugged cliff in the northern mountains of Howling Fjord, Tekkarjan brought the recruit's body (now nothing but a skeleton), however, the dead body was holding a letter.

"Watch out, he will come for you next. Get away while you can."

A piercing screech was then heard as Azlokk's wyvern fell down the cliff, dead. Tekkarjan cackling menacingly.

"Ahaha! Ya stupid tauren, ah've led ya to ya death, an' aint NOBODY gonna find ya corpse!" yelled Tekkarjan.

Azlokk charged at Tekkarjan and the two engaged in a long battle atop the cliff in Howling Fjord. Azlokk eventually threw his undead opponent down the cliff. However, a matter of seconds after Azlokk threw Tekkarjan down the cliff, death's grips coiled around Azlokk and thus sent him tumbling down the cliff as well. Both Azlokk and Tekkarjan landed with a soft thud in the snow just underneath the cliff. A shiver would then be sent down the spines of any adventurers in and around the snowy mountains as a bellowing roar was heard...that of a yeti.

Return to Orgimmar

Azlokk woke, he'd been out cold for near enough an hour. In the distance he saw something that made his spine shiver, a yeti. Azlokk ran to what he thought was a safe spot. But oh he was wrong. The yeti saw Azlokk and charged, the shu'halo warrior looked as if he was about to make his last stand when all of a sudden the mighty beast fell with a loud thud onto the snow. Azlokk looked into the distance one more, he saw two tall and muscular figures, they started to walk towards him. When they finally reached him Azlokk recognised the figures as his taunka cousins. Azlokk told the taunka all that had happened and so they took him back to their village to heal him up, in the end he was healed. Before Azlokk left he did a tour of Northrend to check if the continent had at all been affected by the Cataclysm, which it hadn’t. When he arrived at Vengeance Landing to catch the zeppelin Azlokk seemed more than eager to return to Orgimmar. However, after arriving in Tirisfal Glades Azlokk thought he might as well scout the Eastern Plaguelands, he reported what he saw to Champion Thagr. Azlokk finally got back to Orgimmar, but with a new enemy...Tekkarjan, from that day forward he wouldn't give a care in the world about that death knight, and seemed more than willing to kill him on sight. Azlokk then returned to Thunder Bluff, there he started talking with a well-known alchemist and herbalist. He inquired about learning his skills. The next day Azlokk started his training as a herbalist.

Legionnaire Bloodhoof

After returning from a campaign in Mount Hyjal the Moklohn went through a lot of changes. Champion Kalyah left the Command and as a result Drezul was promoted to Champion, and Azlokk was infact promoted to Legionnaire of the Infantry regiment, and with Champion Carnaga being away Azlokk was temporarily given leadership of the regiment. During this time Azlokk made many more friends...a goblin Razzi, sister of Rokzo, Achaak, former Horde general, Thrukar, an orcish shaman along with many members of the Moklohn Command. Wheter Azlokk was to make will make a good leader was unknown, only time would tell, but with his "negotiable attitude" he actually made a decent leader.

Retirement

Eventually, after years of serving as a Horde soldier, Azlokk decided it was time to retire. After the Highland's campaign was over Azlokk announced to his brothers and sisters in the Moklohn that he was retiring, saying that he'd rather live the rest of his life in peace, and escape the constant fear of killing an innocent. Azlokk was given a fond farewell. With that, Azlokk's military career was over. His aim was to now focus on his Sunwalker training with his utmost. Azlokk  is said to have not left Thunder Bluff during the last weeks of his training.

New motivations, old aquaintances

Eventually Azlokk completed his training. Having been away from his friends in the Moklohn for so long he made his way to Orgrimmar. His old brothers and sisters in arms welcomed him fondly, they were especially shocked that he'd wrote a letter of apology to the Alliance. After having a deep conversation with the now Legionnaire Achaak Proudmane, Azlokk decided he knew what his aims on life would be. From that day he decided he would devote himself to helping the innocent victims of war, as well as creating helpful potions for the Horde war machine. A new Azlokk had been crafed after leaving the Moklohn, that much was certain.

A life long dream filled

One day Azlokk picked up his collection of herbs, vials and what not and set out for the Eastern Kingdoms to start his travels, his objective was to help the innocent victims of war. He met problems at first as he arrived in Stranglethorn Vale during the Zandalari uprising, and much to his surprise he found his old friends in the Moklohn Command there. As he couldn't leave the dense jungle until the problem died down a little bit Azlokk lended his help temporarilly to the Moklohn. After a few days Azlokk was clear to continue his travels, so he did. After a number of weeks Azlokk completed his tour of the Eastern Kingdoms. His next objective...to the same in Kalimdor. Azlokk set off from Mulgore and once again travelled the great continent, helping the innocent victims of war. Thankfully, there were no hold-ups. During his time in Feralas, Azlokk found himself being followed by an owl, one night he approached the owl, and yet the owl did not flee...it nodded its head at Azlokk and croaked gently. From there on out, Senab would become Azlokk's companion. After yet another number of weeks Azlokk completed his tour of Kalimdor. However, he still had one objective left...do the same in Northrend. Azlokk prepared for many days for this expedition, and even enlisted the help of some of his friends in Thunder Bluff. The group set off for Northrend. It was not easy, at times Azlokk and his group had to defend themselves from remnants of the Scourge. His objective was still his top priority. So Azlokk travellled the frozen continent for a number of weeks using his potions to heal the innocent victims of war, in this case mainly the taunka. A whole month after they set off, Azlokk's group finished their tour of Northrend. They returned to Bloodhoof Village and shared tales of their adventres with their friends and family at the village inn. So, Azlokk's life-long dream had been completed. What was in store next for the retired archer?

The Spirit Wolves

Returning from Orgrimmar one day, Azlokk stopped of at Bloodhoof Village for some relaxation time. There, by a roaring fire he met Elder Takuur, the Storm Crow. The two talked for a short while before the Elder asked Azlokk "So, now you've retired, have you thought of serving a tribe?". Azlokk was un-sure at first, but after some perusasion and he himself seeing this as a good move...Azlokk said he would gladly re-take his rites in the Spiritwolf tribe. Azlokk took his first rite that same night, and after completing it he became a "praire wolf" amongst the tribe. Azlokk now has to prove himself as a devoted member of the tribe, and must take his last few rites in order to be welcomed as a true...Spirit Wolf. And with his owl companion Senab at his side, Azlokk is confident he can do so.

A journey in the north

After spending a few months with the Spiritwolf tribe, Azlokk was given his second rite. He passed it well. Azlokk was now a full tribesman. However, to make it official Azlokk had to undergo one more rite. The task was to find his animal totem. And so, Azlokk journeyed to eastern Northrend. Where better to spend time alone than in the beauty of the north? Along the way, much to his delight, Azlokk found the Spiritwolf tribe who were on an expedition. Azlokk delayed his trial to spend time with his brothers and sisters. The tribe stayed in Taunka'le Village for a while. After three days the tribe were asked to help around the village. And one day Azlokk was asked to help courier supplies to Camp Winterhoof. During the journey Azlokk caught an infection and fell seriously ill. During his time asleep during his respite an owl spirit came to him in his dreams, it asked of him to spend more time to himself so he could learn from the spirit. Azlokk decided to do so. And so, Azlokk wrote a letter to Elder Chowlawu explaining the situation. Another journey now lay ahead of Azlokk, one of wisdom and learning.

Return to Thunder Bluff

Azlokk returned from Northrend a few months later after learning all he could from the mysterious owl spirit. Since his return he has taken part in various battles in The Barrens as well as the Borderlands campaign. During both these campaigns things happened that made Azlokk question the Horde. The willingness to kill innocent men, women and children is what made him question the most. He now spends most of his time in Mulgore crafting potions and taking part in tribal activities. He occasionally visits Orgrimmar, but how much longer can he continue to accept being part of Garrosh's war-thirsty Horde?
