Letter to the Argent Post.

*This letter is sent to the Argent Post and can be found on Trynian's person at all times.*

To the Argent Post, in the hope that this could be spread, as I, Trynian Goldhand, am unable to hang this up.

Yesterday, Aluuna Treeshadow and Trynian Goldhand, Right and Left Eye of The Veracious Eye, ex- High Commander and High Chancellor of The Vanguard Order and ex-Shadow Sentinels have been condemned to the penalty of death by execution.

Before they were locked up again, both managed to escape. Whether they received help, or did this with foolish trickery, is unknown.

With this letter, we wish to point out the great injustice that and severety of the punishment announced by the three judges who led their trial. We shall show that it is nothing but a corruption, conspiracy or personal vendetta from Law's side.

  • They were condemned to death for treason. But treason was never mentioned as an accusation. Kidnapping, attempted murder, murder and torture were the only accusations mentioned by the accusation itself. In this case, representatives of the Stormwind City Watch. Innocent on charges of kidnapping and attempted murder, and murder itself, guilty of torture.
  • As treason was never actually mentioned an accusation in front of the Court, neither to the defence, we can personally only conclude the judges held this back from the defence. If they did so on purpose, we may conclude that the trial was one big show, to make an example towards the rest of the population.
  • In the case of Nath Shadoweyes, who actually commited treason and executed such plans, a far less severe punishment was edicted. He was sentenced to life-long imprisonment, yet released after six months. Aluuna and Trynian did not even commit the treason spoken of, and yet their sentence is far more severe. We may conclude that this could be a personal vendetta from Law-enforcing organisations.
  • No clear evidence was given along the way. No witnesses were called, neither was the chance given to do this. We were asked to limit our speeches not to bore the public, as if they were the ones this was organised for. I dare say it was.
  • While Trynian and Aluuna held themselves to the rules of the Court, the accusation clearly had more priviliges. Intervened by sergeant Garret first, and when the judges were to decide the verdict, Sentinel Jazeel Spade was listened to and even thanked by one judge for her word in private.
  • This court was full of mistakes. It was one big show of mistakes, judges were replaced at the start, the accusation was never clearly appointed, ...
  • In the judge, one of the Watch was present (Kyrisha. While Trynian clearly spoke of the Watch in his debates, and for some even accused them of cooperating with the Vanguards. While she may ofcourse tell she was not biased, she herself reacted when the Watch was mentioned, while I used the same method Jazeel did, none intervened with her.

We conclude that we do not accept our punishment so easily. All three judges seem to go lightly over the verdict, shoving their responsibility onto the equalty of the Law for all citizens. They did not count us citizens when we were Vanguards, while all our potential acts were committed in the Light of the same organisation.

What I will do now will have nothing to do with Azeroth anymore.

To the elves who smiled behind their outstretched hands ...

I abhor your betrayals. I reached more with The Vanguard Order than anyone else can ever say. We took it further than most of you could dream, and could have pushed through to take all. I am still an elf. I shall still, if so decided, meet Elune earlier than you would. Let's see who laughs lastly.
