Background

(=¤=) Greetings, traveler! (=¤=)
“May the Wolf Howl your path – it’ll bring you success and a grand fortune.”

“Stop right there,” speaks a loud stentorian voice, as a tauren steps to you. Adorned by a wolf’s head tipped over his head and a tribalist’s robe, his accent is rather heavy and harsh. Near you, a long caravan is being led, consiting of packed tents, braves on kodos and sweating tauren. On the caravan’s tip, lay a huge totem with the top of a wolf’s head.

“Stop and join the tribesmen, traveler. We will be pleased to treat you with what best we have.”

The tribe was once known as nomadic, but only very recently, they settled down in the mountain village of the Sun Rock Retreat, findable in Stonetalon.
What is the purpose of it is unknown, but for the inhabitants here, it is nothing else than only good, depending on that they began making the village a lot livler.

However, those unaware may be sorry – they can be and are fierce fighters. None can survive the rage of the Spirits, as of them are upon which they are calling.
Their main goal is to follow the path of the Spirit Wolf – their idol, their spiritual leader of the other world.

(=¤=) The Village (=¤=)

-----SUN ROCK RETREAT

Kodohunter's Rest - A tribeled inn, found at the very begining of the village, if you enter from the Gold Road, it is led by Kankamani Kodohunter, known of his finest goods, made purely from all what a mighty beast as a kodo gives. Therefore, join the Tribe in their Inn, have a sleep, hear a tale and taste the delicious tauren meals. Opening Hours: Friday, 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. (might change)
The Rockpond - The inhabitants of Sun Rock never knew of those hidden secrets, hiding in the depths of the Rockpond, laying in the middle of this mountaineus settlement. As the Spiritwolves arrived, they quickly found a secret tunnel, leading to the waters of forgotten.
From there, mysterious fishes, worth of gold can be found, and told by the Elders, they come on the surface once per month. The Tribe is therefore organising a fishing competition, of searching for the Rockfish!
Also, on the wooden steps in shape of totems, that are put in the pond, a traditional dance of the Spiritwolf Tribe happens once a month as well - something that shouldn't be missed.

Main Tent - If you cannot find a tribesman anywhere else, this is the place where you should check at last! It is where they gather after long, into a deep night lasting hunts of the mountain, and when they throw the flesh of their prey on the fire and pray to the Earthmother.
However, it is where all the traders should gather. Known by the tradition of the Old Tribe, a market takes place at the tent once every two weeks. There, traders should sell their goods. It is called the Wolfmane Stock, named after Renun Wolfmane, one of the greatest traders of the living time.

Seer's Rise - Hail young Shu'halo! As of if you seek knowledge and peace, discipline and order, this is the place where are religious younglings train. Climb up on the mountain plateau, and you will enter the Seer's Rise.
There, once or twice per week, lessons for shamans and rites are being given, giving the tribesmen a chance to raise in the positions of the Tribe.

(=¤=) The Tribal Fire (=¤=)

The Spirit Wolves are mostly considered nomads and traders, as of that are one of their main activities. When they stop their caravan, they set up tents and mostly, people call it as the “Spirit Faire”.

However, those unaware may be sorry – they can be and are fierce fighters. None can survive the rage of the Spirits, as of them are upon which they are calling.
Their main goal is to follow the path of the Spirit Wolf – their idol, their spiritual leader of the outer world.

According to the tales of the Spirit Callers, the stars and moon show the way to him and so, the caravan usually set on travel at night.

  • Experience an exciting, nomadic life and hear the latest tales of Kalimdor and farther!
  • A tabard, made from thick leather, with the shape of a wolf paw on it.
  • Being educated in the spiritual way of the tauren, learning on how to call upon one.
  • A tribe, where you may educate your own skills further.

Be it so, you may be exiled if not following their tribal guidelines.

  • Respect and love the Earth Mother by treating her body, the land, and her children, the plants and animals of the world, with respect.
  • Disrupt the natural balance of the land as little as possible.
  • Take only what they need from the land and eschew mass logging and mining.
  • Respect the animal you hunt and never wastefully discard animal carcasses.
  • Do not argue with brothers.
  • Do show respect to those, holding a higher position or wisdom in the tribe.

Kagah - A healer of the Tribe, he is considered as one of the wisest.

(=¤=) Hierarchy (=¤=)

It is those that are deciding upon the value of the tribalist. Starting in the prairie as a young wolf, you rise and once, you might become an Elder.

  • ¤Chieftain¤ - The tribal leader, holding the most respect, being himself an Elder as well. Only the wises and bravest may become one and it is the highest position there is in a tribe.

  • ¤Tribal Elder¤ - It is them, who along with the Chieftain decide upon the future of the Tribe. Usually representing a certain branch of the tribal knowledge, alike druidism or shamanism, they are thereafter named like: "Elder Hunter", "Elder Druid".

  • ¤Spirit Wolf¤ - If not experienced nor deserved enough for an Elder, this is a true Spirit Wolf, of whose branches reach deep in the beginning, when the Tribe was gathered anew.

  • ¤Ghostwolf¤ - The authority of thou yet younger and more transparent. Even if you may be a proud member of the Tribe, you'll have to gain a lot of experience to deserve a promotion.

  • ¤Tribalist¤ - Though they are in the Tribe, they aren't worth too much.. Usually serving as farmers and restoratists. However, they are usually the tribe's main body.

  • ¤Prairie Wolf¤ - Young initiates, yet not having the right of handing with the tabard. Usually, prairieans are put on a two week tribal period, when those that are wiser test their skills.

  • ¤Outlaw¤ - A brother that failed us, a brother that does not deserve us. Threat him with the lowest respect, do not help him in his worst moment... that is the tribal rule.
