Explorers' League
The Odds And Ends Exchange
Once in a while, a few members of the Ironforge Explorers' League and the esteemed gentlemen of the Old Ironforge Pipe Smokers' Club set up their stalls outside the towering gates of Ironforge, prop up a few kegs of beer and send invitations out to like-minded individuals for a cordial gathering with just one purpose: to offer a platform for the archaeologically (or monetarily) minded to exchange their finds.
For which explorer wouldn't know this predicament: you brave the dangers of Uldaman to find the ancient Stone Hammer of Imbecillius but all that you can actually come up with is a strange, squiggly piece of obsidian that makes a whooshing noise when held under water.
Fear not! At the Odds And Ends Exchange, you will find the whooshing obsidian connaisseur you've been waiting for and might be able to swap your find for a handful of coins - or maybe swap it for that obscure, hard-to-find trogg statuette with all the naughty bits intact!
The Iceflow Lake Dig Site
Sparked by a fisherman's chance discovery of a small, seemingly unimportant shard that once belonged to a much larger stone tablet from the titanic age (-> A Surprising Catch (Event Teaser)), the Explorers' League is thrumming with excitement at the prospect of a heretofore unsuspected archaeological gold mine right before the gates of Ironforge.
And while the League's elders are busying themselves with discussing the implications of such a discovery and how best to go about surveying it, the Weary Boots are already on the scene, shovels, spades and fishing poles (hey, it's not all s'posed ter be work, lad!) at the ready.
If there's an undiscovered mystery resting under the waters of Dun Morogh, the Boots are sure to find it - and have a nice, warm mug of grog while they do.
