"Born into Damnation"

Brother to Brother

Zulj was born in a small gathering of huts in the harsh Tanaris desert, Dust-Tusk Village, where his father Morobembe Kashif Oondasta ruled over the village inahibted by his nine sons and eight wives. Raised through abuse and the harsh environment, each Oondasta were raised as strong, capable warriors. When Morobembe one day exiled his sons from the village for unknown reasons, Zulj and his elder brother Zeljin stuck together, still young at heart, and ventured north.

"Scum of Sen'jin"

Berserk Beat-Down

Zulj and Zeljin eventualy came across Sen'jin Village. Desperate for shelter, they gave themselves away to the Darkspear Trolls and became their slaves, or scum. For a long time they served the Darkspear Trolls as carpenters and ditchdiggers, untill Zulj got into bad blood with the Darkspear berserker family, Zen'jawe for manipulating their younger brother Snakhaz into doing his labour for him. Zulj was beaten and thrown out of Sen'jin, swearing revenge on the Darkspear and the Zen'jawe family.

"Need more mana!"

Lured by the call of a mysterious vision, promised power to take vengeance on the Darkspear who wronged him, Zulj journeys to Strangelthorn Vale to find this vision. Greeted by a servant of Hakkar, he was cursed with the phenomen simply known as The Gift of Hakkar, a seed planted in the victim to store souls that are to be delivered to the Soulflayer himself, and claws hidden under the skin to drain said souls. Although still in its incubation stages, The Gift empowered Zulj with minor powers.

Congratulations, its a Girl!

While Hakkar's servant waited for The Gift to grow and infest Zulj, Children's Week arrived and Zulj offered himself to tutor a young blood elf orphan, Sally. Having never met or heard of elf-kin before, Zulj carried no grudge or hate for their race, and his relation to Sally only helped to matter. Zulj's kinsmen however did not take Zulj's elven friend lightly, and often he would have to fend off attackers. One such was Zeiji, a young Darkspear who Zulj found oddly familiar to himself. Little did he realise what an ally he would become...

As Children's Week was coming to an elf, The Gift was almost fully grown, and Hakkar's Sevant knew it was time for Zulj to stop playing about with his elf and Darkspears. It was time for The Snake to lead Zulj on its quest; To find and slay his eight brothers and his father with The Gift, draining and storing their souls and deliver them to Hakkar.
